By creating an account or using Built Beyond (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Built Beyond.
You must provide accurate information when registering and are responsible for keeping your login secure. You agree to:
Plans. Built Beyond offers two paid tiers (all prices in CAD):
Free Trial. New users get a 7-day free trial — the first 3 days include full Pro access, followed by 4 days of Basic access. No payment is taken during the trial.
Auto-renewal. Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) until you cancel. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the current paid period.
Payments. All payments are processed by Stripe, our PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. We never store your full card details. Applicable taxes are added at checkout based on your location.
Cancellation. You can cancel anytime from Account → Manage Subscription, or through the App Store / Google Play if you subscribed there. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refunds. Refunds are governed by the platform you paid through (Stripe, Apple App Store, or Google Play) and their respective refund policies. We do not issue refunds directly outside those channels.
Price changes. We may change pricing with reasonable advance notice. Any change applies only to future billing periods — you can cancel before the new price takes effect.
If you subscribe through Apple's App Store or Google Play, that platform's own terms of service and billing terms also apply, and the platform (not Built Beyond) processes your payment. "Restore Purchases" in the App re-links a subscription bought on a platform to your account.

The App generates schedules, tasks, missions, coaching, and reviews using AI models. This content is for motivation and self-organization only. It is not medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. Always use your own judgment, and consult a qualified professional for important decisions. Built Beyond is not liable for actions you take based on AI-generated suggestions.
You own the tasks, goals, reflections, and other content you create. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide and improve the App's features, including AI personalization. You are responsible for the content you post in public goals or the community, and you must have the rights to share it.
Public goals and the community feed are shared with other users. You can choose what to post and can hide yourself from the leaderboard at any time. Built Beyond may remove content that violates these Terms or is harmful, and may suspend accounts that repeatedly break them.
The App, its design, branding ("Built Beyond"), code, and features are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from the App without permission.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for your needs.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Built Beyond and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.
You agree to indemnify and hold Built Beyond harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the App, your user content, or your violation of these Terms.
You can delete your account and all associated data anytime from Account → Delete Account. This is permanent and cannot be undone. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if your account is banned for cause.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes in the App or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
