Built Beyond ("we", "us", "our") operates the Built Beyond mobile and web application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
Account information: Your email address and the display name you choose when you sign up.
Profile & onboarding data: Age, gender, goals, wake/bedtime, core "why", and the focus areas you select during onboarding.
Usage & journal data: The daily blocks, tasks, schedules, goals, reflections, streaks, focus sessions, and activity logs you create in the App.
Subscription data: Your plan, trial status, and renewal date. Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe — we never receive or store your full card number.
Device & usage data: Approximate device type, app version, and basic crash/usage analytics used to keep the App stable.
We use your data to:
The App uses third-party AI models to generate schedules, missions, coaching, weekly reviews, and reflections based on your profile and activity. To produce personalized content, your relevant data is sent to our AI providers. We do not use your personal data to train AI models.
Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with access controls and encryption in transit and at rest. Payment information is processed exclusively by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. While we work hard to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the services needed to run the App:
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Account → Delete Account. This permanently erases your profile, tasks, goals, schedules, stats, and logs — it cannot be undone. Canceling a subscription does not delete your account.

The App is not intended for anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.
The App is operated from Canada. If you access the App from outside Canada, your information may be transferred to and processed in Canada, and you consent to that transfer.
The App stores preferences (such as theme and home layout) locally on your device. If you enable notifications, we use them to send streak and schedule reminders. You can turn notifications off in your device settings at any time.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes in the App or by email. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
